What will I catch?

Off shore tours target Sailfish, Marlin, Dorado (mahi mahi) and Tuna
In-shore Roosterfish, Snapper, Grouper, Snook and several types of Jacks are the main target.


What do we do with the catch?

Billfish and Roosterfish are all released to fight another day.
Food fish such as Tuna, Snapper, Dorado etc. are yours to take home for dinner and any that you do not wish to take the crew will happily accept.


What is the best time to come?

Fishing in Costa Rica can be great all year round, however our summer coinsides with the winter in the north making Costa Rica a great escape from the cold.
December is our Spring and Summer is from January Until The end of April when you will start to see some rain.


What do I need to bring?

During the Summer a strong sun block and a camera are the most important. A light rain jacket will most likely go unused, but a hat and sunglasses are recommended.


How about food and drinks?

All of our trips include fresh fruits, snacks and beverages including water/sodas/beers/ice tea/natural juices.
Our full day trips also include lunch.


Does Kinembe Sportfishing provide transportation?

We do not provide transportation to the boat, but we can arrange it for you or include it into your customized package.
